Greetings Napoleons,
We are so fortunate to live in Paradise. We often forget to visit the beautiful parks Naples has to offer. We have decided to compile a short list of outdoor activities, besides the beach, that can be enjoyed on your own or with your loved ones:
- Naples Botanical Garden – Great place to stop and smell the roses. They have the night of the lights which is a beautiful light exhibit during the Winter Season. The greenery and landscape is breathtaking. The garden was founded in 1993 and has become a world class garden with 170 acres of beautiful gardens. There is also Fogg Cafe, where you can enjoy a nice lunch.
- Cambiar Park – Tucked away behind 5th Ave South this outdoor playground has a section for young kids and older children. There is plenty of greenery and shade to be able to sit down on a bench on a sunny day or do a picnic.
- Baker Park – The most expensive Naples Project in Naples History. This park is totaling over $23 million including land purchase, park and main building, Blair Foundation Bike Path and Bridge. This park includes kayak launch, outdoor fitness, sunrise terrace, grassy knoll, picnic area, and more. It is still being developed. It got
- Sun Splash Family Waterpark – This small water park is great for cloudy and clear days alike. There is a lazy river for those who like to take it slow and big tube slides for dare devils. There are concession stands with ice cream, popcorn and other bites. There is something for everyone. We suggest taking the minimum being that the lockers for personal belongings are not very spacious and don’t forget the sunscreen as shade is limited.
